China-Brazil Trade Conference Success

On July 13 the China - Brazil Economic and Trade Conference hosted by the municipal government of Zhuhai, China was held in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Chinese Acting Consul, General Shi Leike and 11 Brazilian city mayors, including Sao Paulo mayor John Dolia, were present at the conference, along with over 280 business representatives from China and Brazil.

Zhuhai party secretary Guo Yuanqiang met nine councillors at the meeting and delivered a keynote speech. Guo promoted the first China-Latin America International Fair, which is to take place at the Zhuhai International Convention & Exhibition Center in November.
The mayor of Sao Paulo, Joao Doria spoke highly of Zhuhai in his speech because of its friendly ecological environment and professional and efficient government services. He encouraged Brazilian enterprises to attend the upcoming China-Latin America Expo.
Hengqin Party Chief Niu Jing expressed hope that Hengqin would serve as a bridge for enterprises in China and Latin America to coordinate for win-win development.
Under the witness of leaders and guests, Zhuhai Huafa International Event Management Ltd and the Brazil - China Chamber of Economic Development signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement.
Nearly 180 Brazilian enterprises participated in the seminar and achieved a fruitful result with over 30 projects signed within 2 hours.
Notably, a preliminary consensus was realised between Zhuhai Gotech Technology Ltd and a Brazilian mining company regarding co-developing an intelligent security alarm system.
